iPrint Inkjet Training Course in Switzerland

The iPrint Institute, supported by "The Inkjet Conference" and DPS Innovations bring the first Hands on lab based course in inkjet Engineering and inkjet Chemistry.

Course Objectives

Inkjet Engineering is a multi-discipline technology requiring a broad knowledge base. The objective of this foundation course in inkjet engineering and inkjet chemistry is to take engineers and chemists skilled in their disciplines and broaden their knowledge base.

The course is a hands on practical course  . backing up the theory of the classroom sessions. There is a focus on the terminology and vocabulary of inkjet enabling communication and discussions between the disciplines.

During the week the participants will build from supplied components a small lab scale printer, they will develop a basic jettable fluid, measure the physical properties and introduce the concept of material compatibility, pigment dispersion stability and waveform development

Five Days. Eight tasks.

  1. Introduction to Printer Mechatronics
  2. Printheads
  3. Rehology
  4. Inks
  5. Substrates
  6. RIP and Workflow
  7. Electronics and data path
  8. Printing system design

Entry Requirement
